Job Description
Help wanted- We are moving farms, working dogs/pups/sheep/kennels
From Cement Mills, Queensland (west of Warwick) to 1.8 hrs drive away to Tenterfield NSW.
5 to 7 days work project based on hourly casual rate for two people. If work out can stay longer after works completed & camp on farm and enjoy exploring region.
New location of farm is Northern NSW (Australia) cattle, sheep, goat farm experience; Granite Belt region.
This location is 3.1 hours drive/bus west of Byron Bay NSW. (We are 18 km west of Tenterfield on the New England Highway).
Beautiful - Box Gum Grassy Woodland country. Well known region for birdlife, wildlife, stargazing, bush walking along creek & hills. Nearby is 340,000 hectare Torrington State Conservation Area – see link https://www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au/visit-a-park/parks/torrington-state-conservation-area

Need to be very fit: Projects we are working on at moment are:
1. working on improving working dog kennels living conditions.
2. moving all kennels & operation to new location.
3. assisting caring for working dogs and pups.
4. R&M & livestock husbandry
5. Setting up Off Grid farm, infrastructure, systems (including solar system).
We are in process of setting up new farm, so we are camping under the stars during this project in a beatiful outback summer temperate climate.
Thus you will need to supply your own independent camping gear/caravan/RV. We have unlimited internet available

This is a Volunteer exchange program role.
Pull up for a month and enjoy scenery with undulating hills and creek flowing through a sheep, cattle & goats farm.
