Geological Field Assistant

Munro Geological is looking for a Geological Field assistant to help with an exploration project in the Barraba area of New South Wales.
The role will include soil sampling, working with a geophysics crew and assisting processing core during drilling programs. If you have experience in any of these areas we encourage you to apply. Previous experience as a Geologists, Environmental Technician or general laborer is desirable.
First aid, Australian drivers license and being able to drive a manual car is desirable.
4WD driving experience is desirable.
Work experience in remote, hot areas is also desirable.
Work starts on 13th Dec for approximately a week, then we recommence in January.
You need to be based in Southern Queensland or Central -Northern NSW.
We are looking for people that work well in a team, love working outside, don't mind getting dirty and are flexible and resilient.
