Handyman, Transport And General Repairs

Our small and friendly team requires a strong young person to work in the role of Handyman for general repairs and manual assistance in our Ultimo Store

Hours would be 9am till 5pm

Pay is $30 per hour.

One week trial period (paid) will be required.
Anyone showing exceptional commitment, enthusiasm and imitative may be offered ongoing work if required

Requirements:

We require someone passionate about working with their hands.
Applicant must have skills with general repairs and rudimentary skills in the crafts such as carpentry?

Key Responsibilities:
1 Furniture Repair and Restoration:
Utilize carpentry skills to repair, restore, and refurbish furniture in our warehouse
Learn and apply new techniques under the guidance of experienced team members.

2. Furniture Transport:
Safely transport repaired and refurbished furniture to clients' homes or businesses.
Ensure items are securely packed and handled with care during transit.

4. Team Collaboration:
Contribute actively to a small and cheerful team atmosphere, assisting colleagues as needed.
Share ideas and insights to improve efficiency and quality of service delivery.

5. Logistics and Maintenance:
Maintain inventory of tools and supplies, ensuring readiness for daily tasks.
Adhere to schedules and routes for efficient furniture transport and repair operations.

Other Skills and Qualifications:

Language: A good grasp of written and verbal English

Creative Skills: Experience in woodworking and working with hand tools

Driving Ability: Valid driver's license and proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles.
