Utility Staff - Bar, Coffee Shop, Housekeeping And Kitchen

We have a number of roles to fill within our operations in Norseman WA. We are looking for staff who wish to stay at least 6 months. We have previously employed staff who are on a backpacker visa and they have generally stayed until their visa ends - these are good roles to accumulate funds as work is busy and your living expenses are low.

Resource Accommodation Management (RAM) owns and operates a Village of 267 rooms in Norseman WA as well as the Hotel and a coffee shop.

These roles include bar staff at the hotel, kitchen hands, housekeepers and coffee shop (barista).

Our contracts are casual but we pay above award. You will work an average of 40 hours per week. We provide accommodation in shared houses and meals while on roster. Staff can access our gym.

These roles are busy and requires active people. As a small village, our roles and flexible and varied. It is likely that the successful candidates will work across a number of departments. We are based in town, not on a remote minesite. Norseman is a small town with limited facilities, however we are close to Esperance with world class beaches and national parks.

What the roles involve:

Kitchen

• Assisting with food preparation in kitchen
• Dishwashing
• Deep cleaning as necessary
• Assisting with unloading trucks
• Cleaning dining facility during service
• Stocking fridges and dry store

Housekeeping / Office cleaning

• Cleaning offices, crib rooms, toilets, kitchen on minesite
• Some cleaning of houses and accom off minesite
• Room cleaning in the Village

Hotel
• Serving in the bar and bottleshop
• Stocking the bar and bottelshop
• Assisting with unloading trucks on delivery day
• Taking and delivering food orders
