Lavender Farm Work
MacMaster Rylstone, New South Wales
2nd Year Visa Eligible
Job Description
We are looking for 2 people to help rake, weed, plant and dig at our new lavender farm. You would need to work a total of 14 hours over the 4 days (3 hours on Friday, 4 hours on Sat and Sun and then 3 hours on Monday) from the 29th Nov-2nd Dec. You will need to be strong and a hard worker, preferably with experience working in a garden. If we get through the work needed around the lavender there will be other jobs to do.
We can't offer a lot of money as the farm is new and not bringing any income yet. Pay would be $140 for 14 hours each person, plus we can sign off on your 417 and 462 visa requirements. We will also provide you with accommodation and food during your stay.
If you have your own car, I will meet you at the property which is a 3.5 hour drive from Sydney. If you need a lift to the property, I will collect you from Sydney Central Station early on Friday morning and drop you back on Monday afternoon.
During your time off from the work, you are welcome to walk around the property. There are kangaroos, wombats, echidnas, and many native birds and other wildlife to see. If you have your own car, you can explore the area, which is very beautiful and full of interesting places to visit such as Mudgee, Rylstone and Ganguddy.
Send us an email if you are interested. We would like to meet with the successful candidates before we leave on Friday 29th Nov.
Please don't apply if you are not already located in NSW.
