Free Brisbane House Stay - Help Exchange

Hello & Welcome to Brisbane :0)

Sandgate is around half an hour from Brisbane city by the local train which is a 15 minute walk from the house.

If you are a clean, happy, friendly dog lover you are welcome to come and stay with us for one week or longer. Some travellers have stayed with us for months, but we always start with a 1 week help exchange before confirming longer stays. We’ve had over 300 people stay with us since 2008 (yes, really).

The help exchange work is gardening, cleaning, and doing things around the house with us as needed (there may be some painting too).

This is a NO smoking/vaping, NO drugs, NO fanatics, NO politics, and NO crazy people who have dramas happening in their life while here. We like open-minded, friendly positive people who like to share stories, adventures, and joy. :0)

For your help, you'll have a nice, clean and comfortable place to live with:
- Your own private room with a queen bed
- Unlimited fast WiFi
- Full use of the kitchen
- Wonderful walks on bay and beach (not white sand) just outside the house.
- Easy walk 10-15 minute walk to all the shops, cafes, bars, Woolworths, etc.

The house is suitable for travellers who want a quieter house and want to be near the ocean and nature and prefer daytime living.
This is NOT a house for those who like to sleep at midnight, have phone calls at 11pm, and wake up at 10:30am. We wake up around 6am and you'll hear the coffee machine when it turns on at that time :0)
