Starfish Batemans Bay is looking for an experienced and qualified Chef. If the chef has a partner who wants to work as a waitress that is great. Accommodation provided. Start date negotiable

The preferred applicant will be able to work to at least February. Better still is someone who can commit for longer. Sponsorship and a long term, full time position is possible for an exceptional applicant.

Located on the NSW South Coast, we are one of the most stunning waterfront dining venues in Australia. We have capacity to seat 100+ patrons and also host functions. Come and work for a vibrant restaurant in a beautiful coastal setting. We are close to some of Australia’s finest coastal National Parks that are home to an unprecedented amount of kangaroos, parrots and other assorted native wildlife, plus surfing, fishing and diving.

We are offering approximately approx 40 to 45 hours per week, with the option to do a lot more hours at overtime rates during school holiday periods. Casual rates of pay are as follows*
Chef Pay:
Mon to Fri – $33 per hour
Sat/Sun – $39 per hour
PH Holidays are even more.

11.5% superannuation on top.
Overtime rates are also available.

Waitstaff Pay: $31.23
Mon to Fri – $31.23
Sat/Sun – $37.48
11.5% superannuation on top.
Overtime rates are also available

*Full time rate by negotiation

Accommodation can be provided in a private room in a three bedroom staff house walking distance from the restaurant and close to town. Private rooms are available for couples at $50 per week.
