Machine Operator/food Process Worker

Honest to Goodness is a family-owned rapidly growing organic and natural food supplier based in Villawood. The Production Assistant plays a pivotal role in daily production operations, with a primary focus on operating and managing packaging machinery. This entails setting up and running designated packaging machines and statistical weighers to ensure the efficient packaging of high-quality products on a daily basis.

This role will require you to:
- Set up, operate, and monitor machines during production.
- Organise materials for processing and packaging.
- Carry out clean downs of the process/production area and machines according to procedures.
- Identify and report faults. Carry out equipment preventative maintenance.
- Batch mix ingredients.
- Work various production lines across our facility (as required).
- Comply with HACCP & GMP practices.
- Ensure product quality, complete quality checks accurately and consistently.
- Be a part of the general periodical plant and equipment cleaning.

To be successful for this role you must:
- Have a great attitude, excellent work ethic, genuine desire to operate to a high standard.
- Be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg, stand for the entire length of shift and be okay with stairs.
- Okay with working in dusty/powder environments.
- Food production experience preferred.
- Available to work any shift assigned (unless days are predetermined). Shift hours are 6:30am - 3:30pm.
- Good command of the English language read/understand/write.
- Willingness to work with others.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, organized.
