Chef | Full Time & Casual

About the role

Pasadena is looking for a Chef/s to join our team in Church Point, NSW. This is a full-time role and casual available, where you will be responsible for the kitchen in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with our group head chef.

What you'll be doing:
Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes as per our standards
Creating menus with flair and innovation having regard to our stock, season and
patron preferences
Ensure patron satisfaction & experience by delivering dishes to expectation
monitoring quality at all times
Monitoring stock level and ordering accordingly to ensure cost-effectiveness
Monitoring food preservation and rotation to ensure minimal wastage
Assisting and training kitchen staff in understanding dish preparation and ingredients
Aiding in the selection and training of kitchen staff.
Managing kitchen staff
Ensuring health regulations are met at all times by all kitchen and waiting staff.

What we're looking for:
Experienced chef in a similar fast-paced hospitality environment
Sound knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management
Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure in a team environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
