Domestic Cleaner

The role is a domestic cleaning position cleaning client homes. Bloom and Broom will provide you with training and cleaning equipment. We provide all the cleaning products to you and you can refill your cleaning products at our office in Carindale when required. A normal schedule will consist of 2 hour cleans to 4 hour cleans and longer on occasion with multiple cleans per day. You will need to provide your own travel to and from cleans. We try to book cleans within approx. 30 minutes of each other maximum and 30 minutes between cleans and we aim to group cleans together in areas where possible to reduce travel. Many clients have pets which you need to be comfortable with.
Pay and Benefits
Pay is an all inclusive rate of $30 per hour plus super, sick pay and paid annual leave.
The role is looking for an employee to work 20-24 hours across a week minimum spread over 4-5 days (no weekend work).
Hours are flexible as we will work to plan cleans into your available hours each day.
All bookings are made through an App which you will download on your phone and you will be able to check your schedule and accurately log your hours for each clean.
Skill requirements
A high attention to detail is expected.
Being able to work at pace whilst maintaining high standards (all items on the cleaning check-list need to be completed within the time scheduled).
You need to be on time for all scheduled cleans or communicate promptly to the office and client if not. Lateness is not acceptable.
Clients prepare for scheduled cleans by tidying up and plan for a clean. You need to be reliable and attend all your scheduled cleans unless otherwise pre-arranged.
Sickness and Unpaid unplanned absence is tracked and should not be higher than 5% of scheduled hours.
Great communication skills between yourself, clients and the office.
Relationship building between yourself and the clients.
