Chef And /or Front Of House - For A Solo, Couple Or Two Friends!

At the Aireys Pub, home of Salt Brewing on the Great Ocean Road, we are looking for a one or two employees to join our team as we begin to gear up for the warmer months and our peak season ahead. We have years of exceptional feedback from backpackers who work for us, and we have a room (one) in our staff accomodation available.

We have up to full time casual hours for a chef and front of house. We are open to various levels of experience for these roles including experienced kitchen hand. Hours would fluctuate from 20 hours up to full time, 38 hours, but the more willing you are, ultimately the more hours we will have for you. We are also very organised with the roster so if you wanted to take the opportunity to explore the area on days off we can plan your days off in advance and together (if applicable) as much as possible.

We are a family friendly venue, a destination for many, and we pride ourselves on the unique experience we provide our customers. Applicants need to be hard working, honest and high energy. In return they’ll get to be part of an already strong and well established team in an appreciative and fun work environment.

Award wages or above apply. Applicants are allowed to make free coffee and drinks, receive free decent meals on shift, a knock off at the end of the shift. You work hard for us, we look after you!

The accomodation room is in our staff cabin on a nearby farm, that is a 4 minute drive away / 30min walk. Having a means of transport would be preferred (or an avid push biker).

Start date as soon as possible and negotiable. A large portion of shifts flow over weekends and nights.
