Job Description

Nook Cherries is a family owned cherry farm located in the Derwent Valley, TAS.

We currently have several picking positions available for the upcoming 2024/2025 season. We are expecting a start date in middle of December, with the season coming to an end mid-late January.

Camping is available on site with access to toilet/shower/kitchen amenities, camping cost is $4.00 pp per night, which is used to cover gas costs and rubbish removal.

Picking is paid at piece-rate done through abc grower. Each picking lug is weighed once picked up so you get payed for exact weight, then empty picking lug is sat near you so you can keep working. working time starts at 6 am till roughly 1-3 pm depending on weather.
