Volunteer - Animal Sanctuary And Gardens

Volunteer/exchange position.

*We are currently looking for 1-2 people who are available for December*

Over 6 years we’ve welcomed over 100 backpackers to our beautiful rescue farm on the Sunshine Coast.

We can sign off on 3-6months Working Holiday Visas.

It is possible to sign off the WHV while working a paid job elsewhere and volunteering on our farm!

Our offer is unique (similar to WOOFING/helpx/work away) where we provide food, accommodation, WHV sign off and training in exchange for 24hrs help each week.

Travellers with their own vans given special consideration. We have spaces to park and facilities.

Tasks may include: Organic gardening, rescue animal care, general maintenance, handy work and cleaning.

We welcome anyone with enthusiasm regardless of experience.

All animals are residents and friends here to live out their lives into old age.

The property is close to Australia Zoo, national parks, bush walks, hiking mountains and swimming lakes. Maleny Botanic Gardens and Bird world is a short drive away.

Noosa 1 hour

We ask for 24hrs help each week in return for shared accommodation and all vegan/vegetarian food provided from our gardens, other nearby organic farms and stores.

A car is useful to have out here as there is no public transport or shops nearby (15min by car to town).

The accommodation has shared facilities so getting along with others is essential. We often have farm camp fires, play board games and do trips to the beach/activities on the coast.
