Adventure calls again. We are sadly losing our lovely Abbie as she continues her travels, so the search begins for our next superstar!!
We are looking for our next Home helper/Au pair/All rounder to join our team to help around the homestead at our Central Qld cattle station. Basically, an extra set of hands to help. It's a mixed role for someone who likes variety in their day. No two days are the same.
We live on a Central Queensland cattle property. Approx. 1 hr 10 min from Clermont (86 kms on the Clermont Alpha Road including 46 kms of unsealed (gravel) Road) and 2 hrs from Alpha QLD.
The job will include but is not limited to helping around the homestead by doing the school run pickup and drop off-27km each way(Son 10 yrs); Homework help; General house cleaning including Kitchen tidy up, Floors vacuum &mop, bathroom, changing &making beds, Dishwasher unpack repack, Laundry – Washing folding & put away, basic cooking(slices Muffins for smokos); Gardening & feeding weaners, checking stock waters, fences & the odd bit of Stock work(drafting branding and mustering) when help is needed.
Start 7 Oct 24 with a genuine love of children and an interest in the outback & rural lifestyle while being a competent driver of a manual 4x4 vehicle on gravel roads. A current Manual Drivers Licence is a must.
Your own transport is an advantage as we are located 86 km from town.
A minimum period of 3 months, ideally for longer, would be fantastic! It may suit a mature-aged person, someone in their gap year, someone studying externally, or a visa sign-off.
Great wage for full-time work 5 days a week (paid fortnightly with payslips) and single female accommodation in a separate shared air-conditioned house, with internet, power, meat and phone provided. Non-smoking please.
