Job Description
The RNA is seeking Casual Kitchen Stewards to join the Royal International Convention Centre (RICC) and Brisbane Showgrounds team.
This is a casual role, with hours based on business needs, including weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment.
Dispose of waste in line with hygiene and OHS guidelines.
Monitor stock levels, place orders, and ensure correct food storage/rotation.
Follow cleaning protocols and ensure sufficient crockery and utensils are available.
Operate machinery safely and maintain cleanliness.
Experience:
Minimum 6 months experience in a commercial kitchen- desired though not essential
Have knowledge of OHS and hygiene standards in commercial kitchens.
