Casual Christmas Decorators And Installers

Dec the Malls are a professional display and events company providing magical Christmas decorations and displays for shopping centres, corporate clients and local governments.

We’re currently hiring for our busy Christmas season in Perth, with casual positions available from September through to the end of January 2025. We’re looking for people who are reliable, self-motivated, have an eye for detail and can work both autonomously and as part of a team. (And if you like a bit of Christmas sparkle it would definitely be a bonus!)

The roles involve:
• pre-decoration and assembly of Christmas decorations
• installation and removal of Christmas decorations and displays

About you:
• You’re a team player with an eye for detail who takes pride in your work
• You are energetic, have a positive attitude, learn quickly and are good at following instructions
• You are punctual and have the ability to work to deadlines
• You have a good level of physical fitness (there will be some lifting/manual handling involved in most of our projects)
• You have high level English skills and are great at communicating with your team and clients
• You have working rights in Australia
• You have a C-class driving licence and ideally your own transport
• You have a forklift and/or working at heights license (preferred but not essential)

About the positions:
• Shifts will be available from September-January, seven days a week
• Flexible night work will also be available through this period
• On the job training provided
