About the Role
Are you seeking a once-in-a-lifetime tree change, combining a serene, off-grid lifestyle with a rewarding career? We're searching for a passionate couple to become the custodians of our luxury treehouse accommodation in the picturesque Grampians National Park.

As Site Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of our eco-friendly accommodation, accredited by Eco Tourism Australia. Committed to sustainability, our lodges are powered by solar energy, rely on rainwater, feature wood fireplaces, and operate a complete composting system.
Nestled in 100 acres of private bushland, our four award-winning treehouses offer a unique and sustainable experience.
The ideal candidate will be able to balance managing the accommodation business with maintaining the site and surrounding parklands, all while delivering exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Services:
Provide accurate and helpful information about the lodges, local attractions, and activities
Efficiently manage bookings and reservations
Respond promptly to phone calls and emails, maintaining clear communication with guests and travel agents
Collect and address guest feedback to ensure a positive experience
Coordinate payroll with Aquila owners
Follow up on booking payment status and process payments
Reconcile EFTPOS payments
Conduct weekly inventory
Administer tasks such as scanning receipts and adding to petty cash
Manage on-site housekeepers and roster
Lodge Maintenance:
Prepare treehouses for incoming guests, including making beds, cleaning, and sanitising
Maintain the cleanliness and appeal of outdoor areas
Ensure treehouses are consistently stocked with essential supplies
Report maintenance or repair needs promptly to the Site Manager
Assist with laundry duties to maintain a supply of fresh linens
Additional Responsibilities:
Assist with various tasks to support the smooth operation of Aquila Eco Lodges
Be a positive and proactive team member, contributing to the overall guest experience
Requirements:
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Prior experience in a customer-facing role
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
General maintenance skills and problem-solving capabilities
Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
Valid driver's license
Work and Residency Rights in Australia
Hours:
This position is approximately 30 hours per week dedicated to guest services and 10 hours per week focused on lodge maintenance. This would suit a couple that can share the responsibilities or have another income stream that you’re looking to supplement.
