Job Description
September 2024 Start - Position is for one person and preference is 4 to 6 month minimum ( no 88 days ).
Private Performance Dressage barn with 2 bedroom cottage supplied.
Duties include:
- Feeding and general care, grooming
- 7am start to lunch & then afternoon feed up and rugging. Flexibility is required as horses don’t know the time.
- 9 horses, five stabled with 6-7 in work
We offer:
Salary weekly paid. Above award rate for a good experience person.
Use of a shared fully furnished cottage (shared with 1 other), full kitchen facilities, lounge area, bathroom, TV,DVD, foxtel, music and internet available.
Working between 5 ½ to six days per week.
Use of car for local travel only.
Friendly atmosphere with other local staff employed, dogs, cats etc.
Fluent English is required, previous work with horses is essential, feet, rug, feed but training will be given. Have to have equine experience and ability to adjust horse management to suit horse.
Position does not go towards 2nd year VISA as too close to Sydney
