☆ Sydney’s newest & biggest night walk needs YOU! ☆
As night falls on Saturday 23 November, thousands of participants will start a coordinated night walk along Sydney's most iconic sights. And it's not just a walk, everyone raises vital donations for children living in emergencies.
Light up the night as a volunteer at UNICEF Dusk to Dawn, and support walkers on their 37km journey through the night.
☆ A shift for everyone ☆
There are multiple volunteer roles to choose from at various locations along the 37km course. Key locations are: Bondi Beach, Vaucluse, Rose Bay, Rushcutters Bay, The Rocks, and North Sydney. After registering, you will select your own shift and volunteer role:
★ Course Marshal: Give walkers an extra spring in their step with encouragement and support at designated locations along the course; helping teams to safely navigate through the night.
★ Checkpoint Crew: Cheer on walkers as they arrive at these milestones along the course. Monitor timing points, restock food and water, and assist with event site operations.
★ Course Marker: Calling all hiking enthusiasts and navigators! Set-up the course for participants to easily navigate the course without use of a map. In small teams, walk a section of the course (up to 12km), placing directional signage and markers.
★ Sweep Team: Get your step count up and help us leave no trace. In small teams, walk a section of the course (up to 12km) through the night. Stay behind the last participants to make sure everyone safely clears the course and collect all event signage along the way.
