Job Description
Boutique, high-profile broodmare farm in Romsey, Victoria, requires the services of 1 x stud hand for an initial 3-month period to assist with the care of thoroughbred yearlings, broodmares and foals.
Starting mid-September. Extension possible for the right person.
Work in a team of experienced professional staff. Daily tasks include feeding the horses, cleaning stables and yards, walking the horses and assisting with foaling. NOTE: Horse riding is NOT part of this role or an activity done on this farm. Previous experience with horses preferred.
A manual drivers licence would be a plus. Basic on-farm accommodation can be provided.
Must be confident, fit & strong, energetic, and willing to "give it a go" and you must enjoy working outdoors in all kinds of weather.
This work & this location qualifies you to apply for a 2nd year visa.
