Au Pair- Regional Nsw

Experience the rural lifestyle with an Aupair opportunity in Scone. Situated 2 hrs from Newcastle and 3 hrs from Sydney. Enjoy the slow paced rural town vibes just a hop skip and a jump from the busier cities. Scone is a quant rural town with a large backpacker community with many au pairs and stud hands working in the area. 

Join a travel loving, active family comprising of 2 energetic parents and 3 kids. The Aupair opportunity will require usually 3 days per week- getting the 2 older children off to school, keeping our 3 yr old entertained for the day, then being home in the afternoon for when the older 2 return home from school. We are looking for an individual who loves the outdoors and adventure. We love travel and look forward to sharing our stories, experiences, recommendations and even our travel opportunities with you. 

PROFILE:

Needed: Aupair (Live-in semi detached accommodation)
Location: Scone, NSW
Children: 9 year old girl, 7 year old girl and 3 year old boy
Start: Early September
Hours: usually 3 days per week (7-4ish) need to be able to work around host family working roster. Weekdays only
Stay: Flexible (preferably till the start of 2024)

Flexible and generous time off. With my work roster you are given the freedom of between 4 - 6 days off in a row every swing. This gives you the opportunity to get out and explore. If you would prefer to pick up an extra job to replenish the piggy bank (we can put you in contact with local hospitality employers or extra babysitting opportunities if this is something that interests you)
We live in town so walking distance to shops, gym, schools etc

Confident driver (manual transmission)
English speaking
Experienced in childcare preferred
Kind, trustworthy and adaptable
Fun and energetic
Comfortable with general household tasks
Open to extra hours if needed

TASKS
Be at home when my husband and I leave for work and get the morning routines nailed and school drop-offs. School is a 100m walk from our house.
Help with keeping the house tidy and prepping dinner sometimes
Provide care for 3 yr old through the day, getting him out and about as he loves being outside
Be home for school finish daily
Be available to take children to after school activities as required 
Prepare meals and handle light housekeeping
