Cafe Allrounder - Barista

CAFÉ ALL ROUNDER - Start 1st September!

Soul Food Depot & Gallery requires an experienced Café Allrounder who is motivated and passionate about preparing and serving coffee and food.

The role:
You are essential to supporting the successful operation of Customer service, and able to assist in the preparation of coffee or food on a daily basis.
Specifically, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
• Serving customers
• Prepare and serve coffee
• Prepare and serve food (make and toast sandwiches, serve pies, sausage rolls etc)
• Conduct quality control, ensuring all rostered tasks are completed for the day, ready for service the next day
• Ensure company compliance of all OH&S/WH&S requirements including kitchen cleanliness staff/customer safety

To be successful in this role you will:
• Have 1+ year customer service experience  
• Have 1+ year barista experience
• Current responsible service of alcohol or willing to obtain
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with high pressure
• Produce quality product with exceptional presentation
• Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks and understand sequence of service
• Have excellent communication and leadership skills
• Be reliable and able to work on weekends
• Have excellent personal hygiene and presentation

We have one bedroom in a two bedroom unit available - $190 per week, includes electricity water & wifi!
