Job Description
Looking to fill role of horse stud worker. Role is to look after Warmblood horses on a stud farm in Yarra Valley an hour from city. Sorry no 88 day sign off possible in this post code.
Need someone fit and capable of assisting in all aspects of horses care of 70 horses. This includes mares foaling down from Now Nov to Jan and you must be keen to help with this and mare and foal care.
Helping Breed mares with AI with Vet. Experience in this type of role essential. You must have experience with horses previously and be able to handle them safely on the ground. Ideally available now for min 3 to 6 mths. No 88 days Visa sign off at this location sorry is too close to Melbourne.

Coldstream Park is a long established smaller scale horse stud breeding Warmblood horses with a talent for dressage, eventing, and showing.
Set on 164 acres of rolling hills amongst gorgeous vineyards and cattle and sheep properties it is a beautiful place to live. an hour or so from snowfields in winter and less than an hour to Melbourne city by train access from close by metropolitan township of Lilydale. Lilydale is 5 minutes drive from the farm and has everything you need and is bursting with interesting cafes and all modern facilities and shops.
The stud usually breeds 6 to 12 foals a year and employs 2 to 4 people depending on the time of year. There is lovely renovated and fully furnished self contained accommodation on farm in either of 2 cottages each with one bedroom and a 2 bedroom apartment which is next to the main house. Use of car for local erands is possible.
