Position: Operations Coordinator

Company: Calibre Manufacturing

Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

We are currently seeking a dedicated and organised Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Bibra Lake, WA.

Key Responsibilities:
• Workshop Organisation: Maintain an orderly and efficient workshop environment, ensuring tools, equipment, and materials are properly stored and readily accessible.
• Purchase Orders: Manage the creation, tracking, and fulfilment of purchase orders to ensure timely procurement of necessary materials.
• Freight Management: Oversee all freight activities, including inbound and outbound shipments, to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
• Client Relationships: Foster strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
• Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to manage inventory and equipment. (Forklift ticket required; training can be provided if not already certified.)
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and availability of materials.
• Team Coordination: Coordinate the activities of workshop staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all operations-related activities, including inventory logs, maintenance records, and purchase orders.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or workshop environment.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in managing purchase orders and freight logistics.
• Ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
• Forklift ticket (or willingness to obtain one through company-provided training).
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Experience in inventory management and control.
• Ability to coordinate and lead a team effectively.
• Attention to detail and strong record-keeping skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
