House Keeper

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Live-In Housekeeper/House sitter to join our household in Perth, WA From 20th August - 20th November.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized home and enjoys providing support to busy individuals or families. While this position primarily focuses on the upkeep of the house, there may be occasional gardening and dog walking duties.

Responsibilities:
Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces throughout the house.
Ensure all rooms are kept tidy and presentable at all times.
Manage laundry duties, including washing, ironing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in common areas such as the kitchen, living room, and bathrooms.
Assist with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light cooking as needed.
Handle occasional ad hoc childcare responsibilities for exceptional circumstances, such as assisting with homework or supervising children for short periods (up to 3 hours per week).
Keep track of household supplies and inform the employer when items need to be replenished.
Follow specific instructions and preferences provided by the employer regarding cleaning products, organization methods, and household routines.
Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of the household.

Requirements:
Previous experience in housekeeping, Au Pair or domestic work is preferred but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
Flexibility to occasionally assist with childcare duties when needed.
Must be comfortable living in the employer's home and respecting their space and privacy.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record preferred (for grocery shopping and occasional errands).
