Au Pair / Nanny

We are looking for a nanny to join our family to start July 2024 and stay until October 2024 (4 months). We are looking for someone with child-care or nannying experience with young children to take care of our 2.5 Year old son, who is a well behaved active little boy. We take pride in raising our son in a positive, well-mannered environment and seek someone who supports the same values.

We live rurally on our property near Young NSW Our farm is 4 hrs from Sydney and 2 hrs from Canberra and would encourage adventure to experience rural living and sightseeing on non-working days.

This is a Part time role Tuesday – Thursday 8am to 6.30pm(approximately) some pre- agreed weekend or after-hours work may be required on an as needed basis.
This position may also be considered as fulltime role for the right applicant.
Days worked are eligible for 2nd year visa.

The role will include but not be limited to:

Au pair
Provide care for little boy 2.5 years within our home.
Feed, clean and entertain children at home
Supervise adventures around our beautiful property

House & Garden Cleaning & Upkeep
General cleaning of the house and keeping things clean and tidy
Laundry - washing clothing and bedding
Gardening such as watering garden beds, moving sprinklers, weeding etc
Food shopping, prep and some cooking

There will be a 2 week trial to see if the arrangement suits both parties.

The right applicant would need to have:
A genuine love of children and experience looking after children
Driver's License (own car preferred but not essential)
First aid Certificate
Working with Children Check
Minimum of 2 nannying/ au pair references
Fluent Speaking English

Completely self- contained heated and airconditioned on-farm cottage separate to main homes with WIFI Included
Fully compliant award wages, Including superannuation and entitlements.
