Job Description
Town & Country Polo Club is a private polo club located near Richmond, NSW (55 minutes from Sydney).
Town & Country has a position available for one groom for a 3-month role from January 6th until early April.
You must be a very competent horse rider with a demonstrated love for horses. Polo experience is not necessary as all training will be provided. Duties include: riding exercise every day; tacking and untacking horses, rugging, feeding, paddock maintenance, cleaning gear, cleaning stables and yards, general stable-hand work.
The role requires Saturday and Sunday work - typically Monday off. This is a self-starting role so requires a flexible, reliable and motivated person. The position includes accommodation and use of a vehicle - a driver's license is necessary. There will be occasional travel to tournaments within NSW and interstate.
The position is eligible for a 2nd year visa.
