Chef/farm Hand

Hi everyone, we are looking for our next superstar Irish Chef or someone with proven cooking experience to join our team here at the Williams Hotel located 1.5 hours South of Perth. We are an all-Irish team however if you have chef qualifications and meet the job criteria, we welcome applications from all nationalities. Our kitchen has recently just undergone major renovations and has been fitted out with all new cooking equipment.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
✔️Highly Efficient, organised, trust worthy and reliable
✔️Great communication skills and can work well in a team environment
✔️Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work well under pressure
✔️Trade / cookery qualification is an advantage but not essential
✔️ 2 year minimum experience working in a commercial kitchen preferably hotels/ pub style food
✔️ Ability to follow instructions and recipes
✔️ Maintain high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen
✔️Passion for food with a creative flair to express their own personal cooking style
✔️Comprehensive knowledge of food safety is essential
✔️ Rational Combi Oven “icombi Pro” experience required but not essential
✔️Deep fryer & Char Grill experience required
✔️ Be able to assist with menu planning

****This position is due to commence for immediate start, if you require a slightly later start date, we can be somewhat flexible with the starting time depending on the right applicant’s availability. You must be able to commit to stay for a minimum period of 4-6 months.

Please Note: We would consider taking on a couple and could offer the second person bar, kitchen hand and housekeeping work in the Hotel, we can also sign off their farm workdays, please send us an email to discuss further details.
Hourly rate Mon-Friday $28.26 Sat-Sunday $32.58 with your own private room with smart tv and access to high speed wifi $120 per week
