Job Description
Live in volunteer position available on a performance horse property in Victoria.
Exciting opportunity for backpackers who love horses.
You will help with feeding, caring, lunging and riding horses (dependent upon experience), stable and general farm duties.
We provide self -contained accommodation, all food, use of a car, some training and riding lessons.
Our property is 1 hour from Melbourne CBD in a semi rural location and is close to beaches and wineries.
Reasonable experience with horses essential.
Great opportunity for horse enthusiasts to build on their equine knowledge.
Opportunity to be involved in taking horses to clinics and competitions. Past backpackers have found it to be one of their best and most educational experiences.
Opportunity to sightsee Melbourne and surrounds.
Motivated, mature, proactive non smoker required. References appreciated if possible.

We provide high quality facilities and act as hosts for travellers from all over the world who are horse enthusiasts to come and experience equestrian life here in Australia on a performance horse property. We have been hosting travellers for over 20 years and have met many wonderful young people who have been able to build on their knowledge and experience with horses and see a part of Australia at the same time.
