We are happy you are interested in working with us. We are a small boutique resort located in the mountains of Tasmania right on Australia’s deepest lake. A majestic working environment.
We are looking for a guest services attendant to perform an all-rounder role inclusive of housekeeping and food and beverage duties.

We operate Lake St Clair Lodge (42 cabins), Lake St Clair Tourist Park (backpackers, camping,caravans), Lake St Clair World Heritage Cruises (scenic cruises and ferry service), Bar andRestaurant (restaurant) and Cafe.
**What you can expect to be doing**
- clean and prepare guest rooms, service areas, shared facilities, grounds;
- ensure presentation of rooms meets brand standards with every attention to detail followed;
- taking orders, running orders, serving customers in our cafe (and if you have the skills our restaurant too).
- This is a physical role and you’ll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important;
- Occasional lifting is needed of items up to ~ 20kg and or push / pulling of heavy objects;
- You will need to stretch, bend or kneel to complete some activities,

**Other Considerations**
Please be aware that this position requires weekend work and grooming standards apply.
The site is going into it’s off season, so it is highly likely that there will be snow and you will need to ensure you have appropriate clothing for these weather conditions.
The staff village is located 5km from the working site and 2.5hrs drive to the nearest town. Due to this, these roles would better suit applicants with their own transport. Naturally, applicants will not be disadvantaged if they have a preference to ride a bike or walk to work.
Due to location this role would not be suitable for anyone with school aged children.
