Aupair/ Nanny Urgently Wanted In Adelaide For 2 Children

We are a family of 4 (Mum, Dad and 2 children), urgently looking for a FEMALE aupair to join us in Adelaide. Our current aupair is returning home due to a family emergency. Position is available from Monday 18/03/2024.

We have 2 children (11 and 13) and mainly need assistance before and after school. Role is 30-35 hours a week. You duties will include assisting children with routines, driving them to school/ appointments, doing activities/ going on outings with them. You must also be prepared to do some light housework and cooking (but no heavy cleaning as we have a cleaner). You will be driving the children in our 4-wheel drive, so must be a safe & confident driver.

We have a large house, with several pets. This includes cats and turtles. So we are looking for someone who likes animals. We’d also like someone reliable, flexible, proactive and fun who would like to become part of the family. We would prefer someone who has previous experience with children, or previous experience in a caring role like nursing/ disability.

You must genuinely enjoy spending time with children, and be confident to care for children who are high energy and like to push limits! Looking after teenagers is different to little kids – so you must be comfortable interacting with this age group.

Both kids are quirky with a good sense of humour. They both enjoy electronic games, board games, cats and reptiles. Mr 13 learns drums, and enjoys AFL/Soccer and anime. Miss 11 enjoys singing, imaginative play, jumping on the trampoline and has endless energy.

You would have your own large bedroom (with attached lounge area), all meals, free wifi/ streaming services, home gym, and the opportunity to use car for personal use. You will also receive generous $$ hourly pay to help you save for further travels. You will also have the opportunity to stay with a warm, welcoming family while you explore a fantastic part of Australia.

We are looking for a female aupair, but may consider hosting two female friends traveling together. (Please note the aupair room has one queen size bed, but plenty of space for two people to spread out)
